    small room

Our family had a delightful stay at Gleann Na Smol! Sean, the host, went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The kids loved the cozy room, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious, featuring options like bacon, eggs, and fresh fruit. Plus, the location was perfect for scenic walks along the coast.

The decor felt a bit dated.

    welcoming host
    delicious breakfast
    room cleanliness
    bathroom mold
    cluttered common areas

The owner was incredibly welcoming and shared fascinating stories about his home, enhancing the overall experience. Breakfast was a highlight, with a scrumptious cooked meal that included local favorites. However, the room cleanliness was disappointing, as dust and cobwebs were noticeable, and the bathroom needed attention with mold present. Additionally, the common areas felt cluttered and lacked proper tidiness, detracting from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

    breathtaking views
    welcoming host
    basic room
    lacking amenities
    dated decor

The location is stunning, just a short walk to the harbor and cliff walks, allowing for breathtaking views. The warm and welcoming host made the experience feel like home, preparing a delightful Irish breakfast that included traditional puddings. Rooms are quite basic and small, which might not be ideal for longer stays, and the decor could use some updating. Additionally, some amenities were lacking, which detracted a bit from the overall comfort factor.

Absolutely loved the cozy vibe and how Sean went the extra mile to help us out! Super close to local attractions, and you can even walk to the train station when you're feeling energetic.

The room was a bit cramped, but at least I had a cuddle buddy—my luggage!
